220407 | Riverside Chalet - Simon Wright, owner of Harbour Development Company trying to evict

Michelle Scully explained that she wanted to speak about the problems her friend Karin Howey, of Riverside Chalet was having as Simon Wright, owner of the Harbour Development Company was trying to evict her.  She said that although Mr Wright had previously claimed he loved and wanted to protect the chalets, apparently there was a letter in existence stating that he wanted to remove them.  Michelle said that through her own investigation she believed the rights to the Harbour had initially been gained fraudulently, by the then owners Tekoa.  She said that Karin was facing £9,000 court costs and being continually bombarded by Coodes Solicitors, who were trying to settle out of court.  She said that at the eviction hearing, the judge had postponed for a full hearing on 1 July.  Miche  read more »

Copperhouse Pool is busy with birds!
Up to 3 Osprey were seen on the
Estuary during October, but none
have been observed recently. There
have been 4 Pink Footed Geese on
Copperhouse and 6 Pale bellied
Brent Geese on the estuary. A recent
count of the Canada Geese finished
up with 320. Waders have been
appearing with Curlew, Sandpiper,
Spotted Redshank, Little Stint, Grey
Plovers, Bar & Black Tailed Godwits.
