HAYLE PENWITH U3A:

Hayle U3A has the following programme this week.  Today, Thursday July 28, at 10am there is Games; then at 12.30pm for 1pm the U3A luncheon takes place. On Tuesday August 2 at 10am there is Art; then at 2pm the Film club meets. Next Thursday, August 4 the Summer Outing takes place which is a boat trip "Up the Creek" on the river Fal. All sessions except Writing are held in the Philip Smith annexe to the Hayle Day Care Centre.  The Writing is held in Hayle Library.

ANGARRACK COFFEE MORNING:
Angarrack's next fortnightly coffee morning takes place this Friday, July 29, between 10am and noon at Angarrack Community Centre. All welcome.

HAYLE WI:

Hayle WI will be meeting on Tuesday August 2 at Hayle Day Care Centre at 7pm. The visiting speaker will be Helen Brocklesby talking about Life on the QE2.

SUMMER BAZAAR:

Penwith parish Catholic church's, annual Summer Fayre, takes place next week on Thursday August 4 at St Ives Catholic church, Tregenna Hill [ just along from the bus station] between 10am and 2pm. Stalls of good bric-a-brac, jewellery, fancy goods, DVD's, CD's, Cakes, books & lots more. Refreshments available. Come along for the many bargains on sale.

PEBBLE PAINTING:

Hayle Macmillan Cancer Support Fundraising Committee is holding £1 a go Pebble Painting activity events on Carbis Bay Beach from 11.30am to 4pm every Monday for the next three weeks.

PHILLACK CHURCH HALL:

Every Tuesday at 11:30am ZUMBA GOLD with Catherine, come along and have some fun.  Call 017436 711926 for more information.

 

HAYLE HERITAGE CENTRE:

Hayle Heritage Centre is now open for the summer season on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 11am and 4pm.  They are based on Foundry Square, on the historic site of Harvey's Foundry, and offer an insight into Hayle's rich social history. ST ELWYN'S CHURCH:

On Sunday July 31, the Parish Eucharist will be celebrated by the Reverend Rosemary Wickremasinghe at 9.30am. On Wednesday August 3, Said Eucharist will be celebrated by the Reverend Sharon Clifton at 10am.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after each service. On Thursday August 4, Healthy Church event at Gwinear Church 6pm for 6.30 pm. On Saturday August 6, first instalment of Parish programme at Gwinear 2pm to 4 pm.

ST.JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, HAYLE:

St Joseph's Church in Hayle is part of the Roman Catholic Parish of the Holy Family. Father John celebrated the 6.30pm Mass on Saturday July23.

There will be Mass on Friday at 10am.

Garden party and cream tea on Sunday August 21 at 2.30pm at 14 Heather Land in Canon's Town.

Churches Together songs of praise Sunday August 7 at 6pm in Hayle Day Care Centre. Free parking.

The painting "Sunrise" Smeaton's Pier by a local artist is on display in St Ives for the next few weeks.
