The Outlook South West Dementia Training Team are providing a programme of FREE information sessions, covering everything from the basics of dementia care, to strategies for behaviours that challenge. The friendly and interactive programme is delivered over a two week period. If you would like to know more or wish to book a place - please call (01208) 871904.

The wonderful Angarrack Christmas Lights Elves will be hard at work putting up the lights on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (17-19).

This year's display should be bigger and better than ever - and should see the debut of the hotly anticipated 12th Day of Christmas - Twelve Drummers Drumming.

Volunteers always welcome - 8am start at the crossroads. Even if you can only manage a few hours, your help is gratefully received. Bacon sarnies!

The mobile library stops at Angarrack Post Box fortnightly on Mondays (except Bank Holidays).

It's free to join the Mobile Library, and there is no fine if you are overdue with your books.

There is a lift for easier access. 

 

Well worth a visit.

This is the day to put out garden waste and brown corrugated cardboard for recycling.

The waste should be put in unwanted brown cardboard boxes or, failing that, in plastic sacks.

NB: Plant material which is from invasive species cannot be collected: Japanese Knotweed for example must be destroyed on the site where it is cut down.

On Monday December 6, there is to be a Pasty, Punch and Mince Pies evening in aid of St Julia's Hospice at the home of the Glassons at 7 Vellan Parc, Angarrack, Hayle from 6:30pm onwards.

All raised is in aid of St Julia's Hospice, Hayle

The wonderful Angarrack Christmas Lights Elves will be hard at work putting up the final lights on Saturday 11th.

The scaffolders have been back to correct the scaffolding for the arches and number 11 (Eleven Pipers Piping).  Anyone who can lend a hand for a few hours to get the last few lights up will be welcomed most gratefully.

Meet at the square at 9am, or if you can't make that, look out for Elves in the field off Marsh Lane, or at the top of Hatch's Hill, Steamers Hill or Marsh Lane/Grist Lane.

You are invited to join members at Angarrack Chapel for worship each Sunday at 11am.

This coming Sunday, December 12, there will be two services.  The morning service at 11am will be conducted byPastor Mary Rogers, at which the Lord's Supper will be celebrated.

The Carols by Candlelight Service wil begin at 6pm, and will be chaired by the Rev. Bob Senior. 

Mince pies and tea and coffee will be served at the close of service.

Angarrack Community Centre are holding their big Christmas Coffee Morning tomorrow, from  10am to 12 noon. 

 

There will be a grand raffle, mince pies and cream.
