Come along and bring something that you enjoy doing or just come along for a chat and a cup of tea!

People will be able to have their say on proposals to build a retail park on the outskirts of Hayle at a public meeting next week.

Walker Developments has plans to create a shopping hub including up to ten retail units at the current Hayle Rugby Club ground.

Last Push for Angarrack Christmas Lights to get the lights ready for Switch on!!

The Angarrack lights will be switched on for 2014 at 7pm on Saturday November 29.  The switch on event will be starting at 6pm in the car park of the Angarrack Inn. More details on the event will be posted here as we have them...

SPECIAL FULL COUNCIL MEETING

There will be a Special Full Council meeting on Wednesday 3 December 2014 at 7.30pm in the School Hall at Bodriggy Academy to discuss planning applications PA14/00532, Cranford's proposed retail development, and PA14/02920, Hayle Community Rugby Facilities Ltd's proposed retail development.

Please note that if you intend to speak at the meeting you will need to register your intention to speak at the venue just before the meeting begins.

Lynne Williams Christmas Flower Arranging.

Two sessions: Thursday 21 November and Thursday 28 November 2013

The first session will be an informal demonstration covering inexpensive ideas for flower arranging in the home at Christmas time.

The second session will be a workshop when you will be encouraged to bring along your flowers, foliage, containers, Christmas baubles etc. To create your own arrangements with help and assistance when required.

In the evening the Angarrack ‘Carols by Candlelight’ service will take place at 6pm. The chair this year will be Pastor Kenny Bassett from St Ives. The service will be followed by mince pies and tea/coffee. The members look forward to welcoming everyone to what they think is the start of Christmas celebrations. This is also a good opportunity to see the splendid village Christmas lights.
