ANGARRACK CHRISTMAS LIGHTS NEWSLETTER January 2020
From: Angarrack Christmas Lights committee
SATURDAYS! Tis that time again!. If you can spare a few hours on a Saturday morning we’d be so grateful! Please keep an eye out for the board and if you can offer any help even if it’s just a couple of hours you’ll be very welcome. Not all help is strenuous! Bulb changing, wiring and electrics, footing ladders, all are really helpful Elf tasks! | Happy New Year! It's nearly time to say goodbye to Angarrack Christmas Lights, but before the final takedown, we would like to say .....THANK YOU ALL!Thanks to everyone who helped make the Lights possible: especially those who put up the lights - and those now preparing to turn out for the hard job of taking them down again!, - those who power the lights, those who support the lights, all who came and enjoyed the lights despite the incessant rain! the hard working Angarrack repair team and their kind host who did more than 500 hours of repairs before the lights even went up! and of course to the collection Elves who have helped to make this the second best year ever(!) for collections and whose merry smiles and welcome received great praise from visitors. Very special thanks also to those in the village who adjusted their routines to cope with the additional traffic. THANK YOU ALL! Angarrack Christmas Lights Committee |
