A 66-year-old woman has died following an incident on Trevere Close in Connor Downs, Hayle, on Sunday 10 December 2017.
Officers were notified at approximately 7.35am to reports of a woman lying on a pavement in front of her car, a red Daewoo Matiz.
The woman, who was local to the area, was taken to Treliske Hospital where she later died. Her next of kin have been informed.
The death is not believed to be suspicious, however, the circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated and a post-mortem is due to take place.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team and Serious Collision Investigation Team are appealing for witnesses to come forward quoting log number 289 101217.
