?Caleb Hollow, aged 11, of Hayle, died yesterday.
Tributes to "friendly" and "happy" Caleb Michael Hollow started to flood in to a specially created Facebook page last night after the popular Bodriggy Academy pupil was pronounced dead in hospital in Bristol.
Dad Adam Chapman posted on the RIP Caleb Hollow Facebook page: "My beautiful son Caleb you've taken my heart to heaven with you, keep it forever because it will never be the same without you!! So so proud to have spent the last ten years together. Love you. xxxxxxxxx"
Caleb was involved in a collision with a silver Audi at around 8.40am on Friday at Loggans Road in Hayle at its junction with Loggans Way.
He was airlifted to Treliske but then transferred to Bristol's Frenchay Hospital where mum Dawn Chapman was a constant presence at his bedside.
Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed they are now carrying out a fatal incident collision and are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them on 101 and quote log 142 of 7/12/12.
A police spokesman said they have not made any arrests in relation to the incident.
He said a post mortem is expected to be carried out on Tuesday.
