Last chance to respond to 'Opinions sought on Cornwall's public rights of way' Cornwall Council survey

People are being asked to share their thoughts about Cornwall's footpaths, bridleways and byways.
Cornwall Council wants feedback to help shape its Rights of Way Improvement Plan to preserve and improve the 2,796 mile (4,500km) network over the next 10 years.
The survey asks what journeys people take using public rights of way and if there are any barriers preventing access to them.
Residents, businesses and visitors are invited to take part in the survey which closes on 28 September.

The Duck Races are coming! Angarrack Summer Duck Races will be held (weather permitting!) on Sunday 9th June starting at 3pm underneath the viaduct on Riverside in Angarrack.
There will be lots of races for youngsters, teens and slightly olders plus the champion of champions race to find the Champion Duck Racer of 2024!
There will be races, - and whilst not racing why not try the refreshments, bottle stall, raffle and of course the ‘tote’ on the duck race results! read more »

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Angarrack. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th February 2024, for one day. Angarrack Methodist Chapel will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2024. To recognise this unique event, an afternoon get together is being organised for Saturday 30th March in the community centre.

Last chance to catch Angarrack Christmas Lights for this year
Elf callout - Saturday (25th) Last big push!! 9am please! at crossroads... Digger at 11

Saturday will be our last big push to get all of the lights up. We will have the digger out from 11 to put the big ones up in the daylight. We are also hoping to get the light strings up along Riverside so we need as many people as possible.
If you can help please be at the crossroads at 9 am.
- Volunteer for a couple of hours on a Saturday morning. We will be out every Saturday, weather permitting, from the 16th September until 26th November.

We are almost ready to put the lights up. We have tested and repaired most of them, have replaced many light bulbs and moved the frames into the village but now we need your help. If you can spare a couple of hours on a Saturday morning we would love to see you. We meet at 9 am at the crossroads in the village. from late afternoon to put up the bigger lights and light strings. If you can help on either of those evenings we would really appreciate it.

Putting up the Lights…
We will begin bringing the lights out for testing, weather permitting, on the 17th September.
We really need as many helpers as possible and there will be a pasty for anyone helping.

Hayle Pop-Up Innovation Centre - closes at Christmas
The centre offers fully-funded business support, including workspace, hot desks, and printing facilities and can also be used for occasional client meetings or to make collaborative connections with other users.
Businesses are also able to make an appointment to speak to IKE accredited Business Innovation Advisors, who are onsite at the centre to offer business advice and guidance on a variety of areas of innovation.
Funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Cornwall Council, the Pop-up Innovation Centre forms part of the business outreach services offered by ATI2, a £3.4M business support programme led by the University of Plymouth. read more »

Christmas Lights AGM
